After 14 miscarriages. Is my body telling me to hell with trying to get pregnant. I'm happily engaged for 4 years now and we've been trying and nothing. Nothing's happening. I have a history of uterine fibroid and ovarian cyst. I've had two surgeries. One back in 2004, removal of 25 fibroid, 24 hiding behind one big one. It was after that surgery and all the follow ups appointments, later on I learned about the cyst, which was very small at the time. The doctor said it was not a huge concern, they usually go away on its on, not something he would have to do another surgery on and that I still had chances on conceiving. But I wasn't trying around that time. I was 27 then. I'm 34 now and will be 35 at the end of October. My second surgery, was sort of recent 2009, and that came into play after several visits to the ER complaining of Lower Abdominal pain. I was referred back to my OBGYN which he did an ultrasound and detected that I had 5 little fibroid and the cyst had gotten a little bigger. So he removed the fibroid and cyst. Fix me up really well once again. Told me I still have chances of conceiving. That's when I start trying to conceive again. I was suppose to follow up with him after the surgery never did, due to my insurance lapsed. I never renewed my insurance because I relocated to another state. Last I knew of my situation was my doctor was trying to put me on birth control for about 6 months to regulate my cycle. Never got a around to doing that. Haven't seen a OBGYN since. It's this really as complicated as I'm making it seem or do I really have a serious problem here.
