For the first couple of weeks following a miscarriage, sex will typically feel unpleasant, uncomfortable or even painful. This discomfort should ease after a few weeks, though it still may be emotionally painful for women to engage in intimacy with their husband because of emotional setbacks.

Some men have an immune reaction to semen, which causes them to produce anti-sperm antibodies that damage their sperm.

Causes of implantation failure include  genetic defects, thin endometrium, embryonic defects and endometriosis.

These include the testes, where sperm is made, several ducts (tubes) where sperm is stored, and the penis. The penis has a single duct called the urethra; this releases both sperm and urine. Also included in the male reproductive system are the accessory sex glands, which include the prostate gland and seminal vesicles.

These methods work only for 1 hour. You should insert more spermicide each time you have vaginal intercourse.

You can use emergency contraception right away - or up to five days after sex - if you think your birth control failed, you didn't use contraception, or you were made to have sex against your will.
