I am carrying extremely low — I must be having a boy!
Again, this is simply an old wives tale and has no scientific backing.
A one year old would be too young to understand simple requests, or to communicate with gestures.
By one year, a baby should be able to recognize and respond to simple, easy requests such as “please come here”, and be able to communicate through gesture to questions they recognize, such as “do you want banana?”
Parents of infants and babies should be mindful of their child hitting developmental milestones:
B)
Just before doctor’s appointments
C)
Every 2-3 months starting at birth
D)
Only when they’re older
From the time your baby is born, he begins developing in new and exciting ways. Milestones represent age appropriate accomplishments that most babies and children are able to do by a certain age. These accomplishments should be monitored every few months to make sure your child is progressing healthily and positively.
It is okay to leave your baby in a wet or soiled diaper for a while.
Leaving a baby in a wet or soiled diaper may lead to a condition called diaper rash. Diaper rash is a red, tender looking area on your baby’s bottom or genitals. This may cause your baby to be fussier then normal, particularly when the area is washing or touched. It may also become infected if not treated properly.
From about 18 weeks of pregnancy, the baby’s sex could be determined through an ultrasound scan.
Ultrasound scans are a fairly accurate way of determining your baby's sex from about 18 weeks of pregnancy.
Sperm may survive for up to a week in the fallopian tubes.
Because sperm can survive in the fallopian tubes for up to a week, you don't have to time sex to the exact moment you ovulate to get pregnant.
