At what week does an unborn baby develop their own individual fingerprints?
An unborn baby’s fingerprints will begin to form between 6 to 14 weeks, though they will not be fully formed until around 6 months. There are factors in the womb that will contribute to how these unique patterns appear, which include the location of the foetus and the amount of movement he or she performs while in the womb.
After a meal it is normal for your newborn’s stomach to look round and full and feel very soft.
After eating, your baby’s stomach may stick out further then normal. It should also feel very soft when lightly poked. It should not feel hard or firm.
Pelvic Inflammatory Disease may negatively affect your fertility.
Blockage of the fallopian tubes, often caused by pelvic inflammatory disease — an infection of the female reproductive organs can contribute to female fertility problems.
It is possible to get allergic reactions while using the cervical cap.
Some women may experience allergic reactions to the rubber of the cervical cap or the spermicide they use. If this happens and your spermicide has nonoxynol-9, you may try a spermicide without this chemical.
An intrauterine device (IUD) may be used as emergency contraception.
IUD is used by some women for regular birth control, but you can also have a doctor or other trained clinician insert it up to five days after sex to prevent pregnancy. As emergency contraception, the Copper-T IUD is much more effective than either type of emergency contraceptive pill (or “morning after pill”).
You should swallow a pill only the day you plan to have sex.
You should swallow the pill at the same time every day, whether or not you have sex. If you miss one or more pills, or start a pill pack too late, you may need to use another method of birth control, like a condom.
