A woman’s mood can increase the risks of miscarriage.
Women who feel sad or angry don’t have a greater chance of a miscarriage, though if this type of mood does persist it’s recommended that they see a doctor for advice. In regards to stress and anxiety, a link between them and a miscarriage has not been concretely established. Though BIG things, like a death in the family, divorce or moving, may have some impact upon the health of the pregnancy, but the link between these two factors is at present under-researched.
If a woman previously had an intrauterine device [IUD], then they have a higher chance of miscarrying.
A woman’s past use of conceptive measures, such as an IUD, has no impact upon their current pregnancy. The only way an IUD can cause a miscarriage is if a woman conceives while they are still using an IUD.
