A six month old baby would not know their own name.
At six months, a baby should recognize when someone says his or her name. By six months, a baby should also be babbling, making sounds like “oh”, “ah” or “eh”, responding to sounds parents make, and making noise when spoken to.
A baby should be able to play pretend at what age?
By 18 months, babies should have a simple imagination, and be able to play independently with toys, mimicking behaviors they are accustomed to, such as feeding dolls, playing with pretend kitchens or food, or playing with pretend animals.
