Women who consume excessive amounts of caffeine while in the early months of their pregnancy have a greater chance of miscarrying.
Studies have found that women who consumed around 200 milligrams of caffeine daily, which is the equivalent of two cups of regular coffee a day, were twice as likely to suffer from a miscarriage.
