At what week will a foetus begin to develop their sense of hearing?
At around week 16, an unborn baby’s aural structures are quite well developed. He or she should be able to detect some noise, though it will be restricted to the inner noises of mom’s body. By week 24, he or she will be able to hear noises outside the womb, and may respond to mom or dads voice.
On average, how much weight would a woman have gained at the end of the pregnancy?
A woman who was at a healthy weight before becoming pregnant will on average gain 25-35 pounds. This can be calculated of gaining 1-5 pounds during the first twelve weeks and a subsequent pound per week for the remainder of the pregnancy.

A one year old should be saying one or more of these simple words, and making noises that sound like other words. They should jabber, and babble, making lots of noise with commonly used sounds that don’t yet form words.

By 18 months, babies should have a simple imagination, and be able to play independently with toys, mimicking behaviors they are accustomed to, such as feeding dolls, playing with pretend kitchens or food, or playing with pretend animals.
